The firing mechanisms Hunt Target are made of aisi 316 and feature the integrated line retention system (line release); the trigger has a semi-curved shape consistent with the most important semiautomatic terrestrial hunting ball guns. The line release works on the side of the release tooth, so even if the line is pulled a lot the trigger weight does not increase. The side line release is located on the right and is well sized: 22 mm long with a thickness of 2.5 mm. The safety test performed on the tensile mechanism is 500 kg; the trigger weight is 1.5 kg up to 180 kg tensile on the rod (5-6 sixteen diameter rubber bands at 320% elongation). The sensation upon firing is of a sensitive and very smooth mechanism: the trigger stroke is short but very intuitive, and in addition, the Hunt Target are compact and very set back, allowing the buoyancy of the rubber bands to be used for 4 to 5 centimeters more travel than a traditional mechanism. The part of the mechanism that is housed in the rifle barrel is 47mm long with a thickness of 16mm and height of 18mm. The strength is the firing sensitivity due to very long levers that minimize the force to be applied to the trigger. La Combat version, created for those who need to install a lot of rubber bands on their arbalete, is not a product for everyone: it is dedicated to the most demanding and experienced shooters; it represents the ultimate evolution of the compact rear mechanism. The Combat series mechanism is built with a lightened trigger box and features a slimmer side silhouette. The levers, black in color, have a very high material hardness, minimum detected hardness 60HRC, and excellent surface roughness. La MATCH version presents a technical highlight, the ability to vary the trigger position by 5 mm forward and 5 mm backward from the typical trigger position. The trigger plus even be rotated allowing a true customization of the mechanism relative to the location of the trigger with respect to the position of the first phalanx (which is the part used to fire correctly) of the index finger in the act of "Making Fire." The firing mechanisms Target 2 are available in 4 versions: Target 2, Target 2 Combat, Target 2 Match and Target 2 Match Combat. Read more
