Hawk 57 is a vertical development reel. The frame is made of AISI 316 stainless steel while the coil is machined from solid. On the front it has two small cylinders that, due to their position, keep the line close to the shaft preventing any snags during swinging. The cylinder in contact with the line is free to rotate, greatly reducing friction. The line retrieval handle is adjustable and equipped with a self-locking snap clutch.
